Job summary

Playbill, Inc. seeks an Assistant Stage Manager for The Arrival Tour (National Tour). The ASM will assist the Stage Manager during load ins, performances, and load outs, tracking blocking, and helping build track sheets during rehearsal.

You will lead hands, spike the stage, coordinate with local union crew at each venue, and ensure a safe, smooth run. Touring schedule runs Nov 1 to Dec 20, 2026, with housing and transportation provided and per diems for non-catered meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-stress live theatre environments.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate union stagehands.
• Strong organizational and paperwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create blocking sheets and deck tracks during rehearsal.
• Manage backstage flow and props during load in/outs.
• Direct hands and spike stage during load in.
• Run shows and assist SM during performances.
