Qualifications

• Previous cook or prep cook experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Operate broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, knife.
• Work well in a team-oriented event-driven environment.
• Valid food handling certificate if required by regulations.
• ServSafe preferred.
• Prepare food safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Know basic food handling, sanitation, safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for guests in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods per recipes and portions.
• Work as a team to support preparation, service, and delivery.
• Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Observe and test foods for proper cooking.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish plates for delivery.
• Consult with Executive/Sous Chef to plan menus and forecast usage.
• Demonstrate attendance reliability and punctuality.
