Job summary

Legends Global in Concord, NC, is hiring an Event Manager for the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. The role covers planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of events, serving as the main client contact after booking and coordinating with clients and facility teams.

The Event Manager ensures plans are communicated on time, policies followed, and staffing/services arranged. You will supervise part-time Event Services staff and uphold safety standards during events.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and coordinate events from planning to closeout.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising part-time event staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facility contact for assigned events through completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and communicate event requirements with clients and staff.
• Develop timelines, floor plans, insurance and staffing information.
• Prepare cost estimates and event documentation for billing.
• Coordinate information with facility departments and third-party providers.
• Attend pre/post-event meetings and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Provide on-site management and responsive client communication during events.
• Supervise and develop part-time Event Services staff.
