Job summary

Legends Global seeks an Event Manager for Cabarrus Arena & Events Center to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of events. You will act as the primary client contact post-booking and coordinate with facility departments, contractors, and event staff.

You will ensure plans are accurate, policies followed, and staffing and services arranged, while supervising part-time Event Services staff and maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Two years of related event management, venue management, hospitality, convention, or similar experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience supervising employees or event staff preferred.
• Working knowledge of event planning, venue operations, event staffing, and equipment used in an arena, convention center, event center, hotel, or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary facility contact for assigned events through completion.
• Meets with clients to plan and coordinate event requirements, schedules, room setups, staffing, equipment, services, and other operational needs.
• Prepares event cost estimates, service orders, event documentation, and final billing information.
• Develops and communicates accurate event information to facility departments and third-party providers.
• Conducts pre-event, operational, and post-event meetings as necessary.
• Reviews facility setups and event spaces to meet client requirements and standards.
• Provides on-site management and maintains communication with clients, staff, contractors, and personnel.
• Completes event reports, incident documentation, client follow-up, and post-event responsibilities.
