Job summary

Irvine Ice Foundation is seeking a Cook, GPI to join our on-site kitchen operations in Orange County. You will support the culinary team by following recipes, handling multiple stations, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and quality standards across events.

The role emphasizes knowledge of menu items, proper temperature control, allergen awareness, and guest hospitality to enhance the arena experience during events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 90 days of experience as a Cook 3 at AAM or equivalent culinary experience.
• General understanding of cooking techniques and knife skills.
• Strong organizational and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work at multiple kitchen stations and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare food per current menu.
• Display knowledge of items, ingredients and prep.
• Prepare items using specified methods and cooking times.
• Maintain food safety, temperature, and sanitation standards.
• Label, date, and rotate foods using FIFO.
• Identify common allergens and follow procedures.
