Job summary

The Irvine Ice Foundation is hiring a Dishwasher, GPI for on-site work at Honda Center in Irvine, CA. The starting hourly rate is $21.00 per hour, with opportunities to support culinary, preparation, and pantry areas during events.

You will operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensure sanitation standards, manage dishware and kitchen tools, and collaborate with arena staff to meet guest service standards while handling a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Less Than High School
• 0-1 year experience preferred
• On-site position in United States

Responsibilities

• Support culinary, preparation, and pantry areas throughout the arena.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, and pot-scrubbing stations
• Complete all station setup and breakdown responsibilities thoroughly and efficiently
• Ensure clean dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and organized
• Clean and maintain sanitation and dishwashing areas
• Follow proper work procedures and comply with all safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain organization and proper storage of cleaning chemicals, mops, brooms, and related supplies
• Develop familiarity with the arena layout to navigate work areas efficiently and assist guests as needed
• Work collaboratively with operational partners to ensure event service standards are met
• Contribute to maintaining excellent guest service standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
