Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking an event-based, part-time Premium Prep Cook to join our Culinary team. You will support VIP spaces including Bunker, Platinum, and Admiral kitchens, delivering high-quality dishes with strict adherence to safety and presentation standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a high-volume or premium dining setting, holds a ServSafe certification (or can obtain), and demonstrates strong teamwork, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years culinary experience in a high-volume venue.
• Premium dining or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and sanitation.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality items per recipes and standards.
• Cook using grilling, sautéing, roasting, baking methods.
• Ensure consistent portioning and presentation.
• Taste and assess quality and seasoning before service.
• Maintain temperatures and HACCP compliance during service.
• Keep workstation clean and sanitary per regulations.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and stocking.
