Job summary

Young Life Midland is seeking an Associate Area Director to oversee spiritual leadership and ministry delivery in the local area. The role includes recruiting and developing volunteer leaders, planning ministry activities and leading youth outreach aligned with Young Life’s mission.

You will work under the Area Director to implement area priorities, supervise campaigners and camps, and ensure faithful ministry in coordination with church communities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Core Training - Phase One.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Development: lead prayer, discipline and church relationships within the Young Life area.
• Leadership Development: recruit, train and deploy volunteers and staff.
• Resource Development: support fundraising and donor relations to sustain ministry.
• Direct Ministry: oversee contact work, club events and Campaigners with excellence.
• Ministry Support: manage administrative tasks, budgets and communications.
