Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Area Manager for its California operations network. This entry-level, full-time role focuses on leading a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity.

You will mentor, motivate and develop staff across shifts, with training provided to become an exceptional people leader. Your responsibilities include supervising 50-100 associates, coordinating with shift teams, and maintaining performance standards while adhering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required with completion between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (4-day work week common).
• Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages with pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment.
