MRK Partners is seeking an Area Vice President of Property Management to oversee 2,500 to 5,000 units across PA, DE, MD and VA. You will develop and implement programs that drive owner, company and division objectives, focusing on operating income, asset preservation and human resources results.

The role requires strategic leadership, oversight of regional teams, and hands-on coordination of budgeting, compliance, and resident satisfaction initiatives. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years within the property management industry.
• Experience with Public Housing, Project-based Voucher, Tax Credit, HUD, and Section 8 is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Advanced financial acumen and critical thinking skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Model and instill company mission and values throughout the portfolio.
• Participate as contributing partner in the company’s strategic planning process.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to promote revenue growth and total operating income.
• Champion continuous improvement and oversee initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction, work processes and employee productivity.
• Determine resource requirements and develop a business case for cash flow.
• Oversee the development of operating and capital expense budgets and forecast major capital projects.
• Perform periodic operational reviews and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and remediate substandard performance while acknowledging strong results.
• Visit each property semi-annually; complete annual audits.
• Oversee new lease-ups, staffing, leasing, and application processing.
• Ensure property files are accurate and compliant; oversee inspections and certifications for funding sources.
• Ensure portfolio meets contractual obligations—safety, maintenance, marketing, and curb appeal.
• Fill vacant positions with compatible employees—within 45 days when possible.
• Participate in high-profile job interviews and support hiring decisions.
