Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Area Substation Business Class Leader to guide the Central Texas Substations team. You will oversee project delivery, mentor engineers and coordinate with client managers to align technical execution with HDR’s strategic goals.

In this role you’ll manage multi-disciplinary staff, develop technical papers, and build strong client relationships to deliver world-class substation solutions and power delivery services across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of relevant engineering and project leadership experience.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Experience leading diverse teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong client relations and ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of substation engineering projects in Central Texas.
• Manage technical staff and sub-consultant teams to meet delivery needs.
• Develop technical papers and presentations showcasing HDR capabilities.
