Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA, is seeking an Area Specialist I to coordinate personnel for on-time production. The role requires deep familiarity with cGMPs, SOPs, and a hands-on leadership style to guide a team of 5–25 in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position emphasizes process improvement, cross-department collaboration, and hands-on day-to-day supervision, with a focus on meeting schedules and ensuring quality through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years manufacturing experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective day-to-day leadership and oversight for small groups ranging in size from 5 to 25 team members
• Schedule team members proficiently to achieve target turnaround times and meet production schedule targets
• Area SME for SOP updates and proposed equipment/process changes
• Partner with training peers to drive training of team members
• Spend 50% of their production day in the manufacturing areas driving the teams and building rapport
• Coordinate required activities with other departments to ensure completion of production schedules
• Participate in RCAs, CAPAs, Change Controls, and other process improvements
