Job summary

SmartStyle Salons in Michigan is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple hair salons. You will recruit, train, and support salon managers and stylists, making bold decisions and leading with strong interpersonal skills.

A valid Cosmetology license is required, and daily travel to salons is expected. You will ensure operational efficiency, consistent marketing, safety standards, budgeting, and high customer service levels across locations.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Must be willing to travel daily.
• Experience in supervising salon staff is a plus.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train salon managers.
• Ensure operational efficiency at each salon.
• Align marketing efforts across salons.

• Manage regional budget and ensure budgets are met.
• Address operational issues and liaise with HQ.

• Attend weekly calls with peers and Regional Director.
