Job summary

SmartStyle Hair Salon Smart Hair, LLC is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple salons, drive performance, and coach salon leaders. A cosmetology license is required and daily travel is expected to manage operations across locations.

You will lead recruitment, training, and performance management, ensure consistent marketing and customer service, and partner with regional leadership to optimize budgets and compliance. Strong tech comfort is a plus.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology or Barber license is required.
• Willing to travel on a daily basis.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong decision-making abilities.
• Experience overseeing salon staff and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and training of salon managers.
• Ensuring operational efficiency in each salon.
• Ensuring marketing consistency across salons.
• Ensuring salons comply with company and industry regulations.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in all salons.
• Managing regional budgets and ensuring salons operate within budget.
• Addressing operational problems that arise.
• Liaising between regional branches and HQ.
• Ensuring customer service levels are consistent across salons.
• Making recommendations to senior management.
• Troubleshooting computer issues as needed.
• Collaborating in weekly calls with peers and Regional Director.
