Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for Clinical Health sales activities within the assigned geography, collaborating with internal teams to maintain and grow customer relationships, and seeking new business opportunities. This role covers DC, MD, SC, VA, and WV and reports to the Senior Director of Sales – Clinical Health.

Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Oversee sales execution of Avadim Health products within the territory.
  2. Build a network of clinical support and referral sources.
  3. Achieve sales targets as assigned.
  4. Attend conferences as required.
  5. Support sales initiatives with marketing, presentations, and clinical studies.
  6. Master the clinical research and publications supporting the brand.
  7. Utilize strategic routing and CRM tools effectively.
  8. Submit expense reports promptly.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Experience presenting to hospital management at the C-suite level.
  3. Ability to navigate hospital environments and overcome sales obstacles.
  4. Familiarity with Challenger or similar selling models.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
  6. Ability to sit/stand for extended periods.
Minimum Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. 3-5 years in the Acute care market, preferably with Infection Prevention or wound care experience.
  3. Mid-senior level sales experience; entry level not considered.
  4. Knowledge of GPOs, Supply Chain, vendor credentialing, and Post-Acute markets.
  5. Senior level consideration with 5+ years of proven success and awards.
Physical Requirements

Must lift up to 25 pounds, able to drive within the territory, and have a valid US driver’s license. Travel expenses are reimbursed.
