Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager is a self-motivated professional responsible for Clinical Health sales activities within an assigned geography, covering DC, MD, SC, VA, and WV. They will collaborate internally to grow existing accounts and seek new business opportunities, reporting to the Senior Director of Sales – Clinical Health.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Oversee sales execution of Avadim Health products within the territory.
2. Build a network of clinical support and referral sources.
3. Achieve sales targets as set by leadership.
4. Attend conferences and support sales initiatives with marketing and clinical materials.
5. Master clinical research, studies, and publications supporting the brand.
6. Use strategic routing and CRM tools effectively.
7. Manage expenses and report as instructed.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Skills/Abilities

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Experience presenting to hospital management, navigating hospital environments, and overcoming sales obstacles.
3. Familiarity with Challenger sales models and proficiency in Microsoft Office, TEAMS, or ZOOM.
4. Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods.

Minimum Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 3-5 years in the Acute care market, preferably with Infection Prevention or wound care experience.
3. Mid-senior level sales experience, with proven success and awards.
4. Knowledge of GPOs, supply chain, and vendor credentialing in the healthcare market.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with travel within the territory by car or plane. Valid US driver’s license and a credit card for travel expenses are required.
