Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group seeks an Area Sales Manager to oversee a designated market for AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix Tempe/Downtown and Hyatt Place Phoenix/Downtown. You will drive group business, prospect new leads, and close opportunities to meet revenue goals.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, you’ll manage relationships, conduct site visits, attend trade shows, and coordinate with hotel teams to deliver seamless events. A fast-thinking, results-driven communicator is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of sales experience.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays depending on business needs.
• Experience with Marriott and/or Hyatt preferred.
• Experience in event management policies and execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills with multitasking and follow-up.
• Knowledge of hotel features, benefits, and market competitors.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business that fits sales parameters using diverse channels.
• Outreach via phone to targeted markets and respond to leads/RFPs.
• Negotiate group business to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Maintain Delphi.fdc with leads, accounts, and activities.
• Follow event management procedures for execution.
• Ensure timely internal hotel communications.
• Conduct site inspections and trade shows to network and drive sales.
