Job Description

The Area Sales Manager develops and implements a territory business plan, promotes the Diatherix Eurofins product line, and meets sales targets. They identify new client opportunities and manage project planning and customer requests efficiently.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Selling using the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach
• Educating customers on product value, demonstrating ROI, and fostering partnerships
• Understanding selling skills, sales forecasting, and competitive analysis
• Communicating effectively and collaborating with marketing and sales teams
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to quality and compliance standards
• Engaging in personal development through training and industry events

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in biological sciences with strong quantitative skills
• Experience in molecular diagnostics sales, especially in outpatient physician markets, is a plus
• 5-8 years of sales experience, ideally in healthcare or medical sales
• Experience with pediatric, GI, family practice, or primary care sales is preferred
• Business-to-business sales experience involving cold calling is advantageous
• Knowledge of PCR, infection control, and antimicrobials is beneficial
• Willingness to travel 1-2 nights per month, 4-5 days weekly
• Authorization to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship

Additional Information
