Job Description

The Area Sales Manager develops and executes a territory business plan; sells and promotes the Diatherix Eurofins product line to meet territory sales targets for the assigned region; identifies and develops new client opportunities. They are also responsible for prioritizing project planning, meeting deadlines, completing customer requests, and organized territory management.

Responsibilities include:

• Sells utilizing the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach
• Educates customers on the value of Diatherix Eurofins products and services, demonstrating ROI and value-added propositions
• Develops understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and budget tracking; monitors competitive services and pricing
• Delivers clear oral and written communication; collaborates with marketing and sales teams on plans
• Ensures customer satisfaction by providing prompt resolutions; upholds quality and compliance standards
• Takes ownership of personal development through training, seminars, and trade shows

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences preferred (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
• Experience in molecular diagnostics sales is a plus
• 5-8 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical sales
• Experience calling on Pediatricians, GIs, Family Practice, and Primary Care
• Business-to-business sales experience involving cold calling
• Knowledge of PCR, infection prevention, antimicrobials is advantageous
• Travel: 1-2 nights/month, 4-5 days/week in the field
• Authorization to work in the US without restriction
