Job Description

The Area Sales Manager develops and executes a territory business plan, promotes the Diatherix Eurofins product line to meet sales targets, and identifies new client opportunities. Responsibilities also include project planning, customer requests, and territory management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Selling using the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach
• Educating customers on product value, demonstrating ROI, and developing solutions in partnership with clients
• Understanding selling skills, sales forecasting, and competitive activities
• Communicating effectively and collaborating with marketing and sales teams
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with quality policies
• Engaging in personal development through training and trade shows

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in biological sciences with strong quantitative skills
• Experience in molecular diagnostics sales, especially in outpatient physician markets, is a plus
• 5-8 years of sales experience, ideally in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical sales
• Experience with Pediatricians, GI, Family Practice, Primary Care preferred
• Business-to-business sales experience involving cold calling
• Knowledge of PCR, infection prevention, antimicrobials is beneficial
• Travel: 1-2 nights/month, 4-5 days/week in the field
• Legal authorization to work in the US without restrictions

Additional Information
