Job summary

Airgas USA, LLC is seeking an Area Safety Manager to lead safety programs in the Orlando area. You will implement and coordinate compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and FDA standards while promoting safe work behaviors and reducing injuries and vehicle incidents.

The role involves liaising with auditors, organizing driver trainer sessions, and planning risk assessments across multiple locations. A Bachelor’s degree and travel readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Willingness to travel up to 65% of the time.
• Experience in the industrial gas or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing, coordinating, auditing, and supporting safety and compliance initiatives with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Promote and develop safe work behaviors and reduce injuries and vehicle accidents.
• Plan, administer, and support ongoing safety programs to advance compliance.
• Liaise between facility and internal/external auditors and interpret safety policies and standards.
• Collaborate with branch locations to maintain regulatory standards concerning DOT, OSHA, EPA, and FDA.
• Schedule and organize driver trainer trainings; conduct IH, ergonomic, risk assessment surveys.
