Job summary

Baxters North America Inc. is seeking an Area Lead for the Cincinnati production site. You will supervise daily operations in your assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and efficient workflow.

You will provide hands-on leadership to operators, coordinate with maintenance, QA, and management, and drive continuous improvement across shifts. You will manage labor scheduling, train new staff and temporary workers, validate SOP and GMP compliance, and maintain daily

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the assigned production area to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate shift activities and serve as the primary contact between operators, maintenance, quality and management.
• Lead training and development, ensure SOPs and GMPs are followed, and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage labor schedule and plan for future shifts; coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Conduct daily huddle meetings and maintain performance boards; plan setup needs for next day’s production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a high-performing team culture.
