Job summary

Bell Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the Los Angeles area. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and strong tenant relations to drive performance.

You will supervise property managers and staff, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and financial activities, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while delivering exceptional service to clients and tenants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/real estate management.
• 7+ years in property management with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, Rent Manager, etc.).
• Able to travel to assigned properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of properties within a designated area to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement plans to maximize property value and performance.
• Provide leadership to property managers and staff, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Manage leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial operations across properties.
• Monitor performance metrics and financial results; report to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and company standards.
• Collaborate with leasing, maintenance, accounting, and legal teams as needed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with owners, tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct inspections and prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts.
