Amazon Inc. is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance across shifts.

You will engage and mentor your team to meet customer delivery promises at the right time and location. Your role covers collaboration with Safety, Engineering, and HR to craft plans that meet business objectives, while adapting to different site workflows including first mile, middle mile, and last mile operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Possess strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with varying noise and temperatures.
