Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Spanaway, WA to lead a team of hourly associates across the three operations components—First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile. You will engage staff during shifts to uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.

Successful candidates will work a flexible schedule (including weekends/nights/holidays) and collaborate with site leaders to drive metrics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly workforce and engage your team during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
• Support continuous improvement and alignment with operations workflows (First mile, Middle mile, Last mile).
