Job summary

Amazon in Kent, WA is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and ensure safety, quality, and productivity during shifts. You will drive performance and engage your team to meet delivery promises across First/Middle/Last mile operations.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to align plans with business objectives, while handling a physically demanding role with lifting and long hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
