Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety programs and policy execution.
• Experience managing multiple locations across states.
• Ability to develop and manage operating budgets.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Project management experience and capital projects planning.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics for trucks, rail, and barges.
• Ability to lead employees across locations with servant leadership.
• Experience with material handling, bulk powders, and silo storage.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Thoroughness under high-pressure environments.
• Minimum 5 years in cement industry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and engage with staff on safety initiatives.
• Ensure terminal operations meet schedule, quality, and forecasted costs.
• Lead cost reduction efforts by studies, tests, and modifications.
• Foster a positive work environment with safety, compensation, and growth.
• Support community involvement and uphold corporate image.
• Oversee capital investments within budget, scope and time.
• Lead development and execution of logistics strategies aligned with plans.
• Manage budget, capital expenditures, and full P&L accountability.
• Establish and enforce DOT and regulatory compliance policies.
• Consult with Terminal Managers to optimize shipping routes.
• Leverage TMS to optimize outbound shipping and data integrity.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and operational metrics.
• Oversee dispatch to ensure efficiency and customer service.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of Terminal Managers.
• Collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement.
