Qualifications

• Proven experience in ready mix or construction materials operations.

• Proficiency with operational software (batching systems, dispatching platforms, MS Office).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ready-mix operations across one or multiple plant locations.
• Ensure efficient production and delivery of concrete to meet customer demands and schedules.
• Manage plant maintenance schedules and ensure equipment reliability and functionality.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate procurement with supplies.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel, including plant operators, batchers, drivers, and maintenance staff.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Schedule staff and manage workloads to optimize labor efficiency.
• Work with quality control teams to maintain high product standards and meet requirements.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality or delivery.
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, sales teams, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Address client concerns and foster strong relationships with contractors and builders.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and seek efficiencies.
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports on plant performance, safety, and productivity.
