Vonachen Group is seeking an Area Operations Manager for the Greater Peoria, IL area. The role oversees about 30 janitorial staff, focusing on service quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work 2nd shift, manage budgets, and help drive operations with strong leadership and financial acumen. Full benefits, laptop, cell phone, and daily pay options are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• BSCAI-CSS certification is required/preferred.
• Experience coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team.
• Knowledge of human resource policies and practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and results.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the work of around 30 janitorial employees.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate activities of the area.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
• Control expenses within area of responsibility.
• Maintain records and statistics for admin and regulatory purposes.
• Evaluate supplies, equipment, and purchases; justify as needed.
• Develop and recommend the area operating budget.
• Provide feedback to management on customer requirements and opportunities.

Vonachen Group is hiring an Area Operations Manager in the Greater Peoria, IL area.

The Area Operations Manager is responsible for the management of an assigned account, or multiple small accounts, and the supervisors assigned to these accounts. This person must be confident, well-spoken, committed to customer service and able to work with little supervision.

Job responsibilities:

Job requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older and a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Must have reliable transportation
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Ability to manage, analyze and interpret financial data and results

• Basic skill with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software
• Education and Experience

• Acquisition of BSCAI- Certified Site Supervisor (CSS) certification
• Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for long periods of time
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Details

• Full Time- majority 2nd shift hours, with other hours required as needed
• $50,000-$60,000 annual salary
• Bi-weekly Mileage Stipend
