Job summary

Vonachen Group in Monroe, NC is seeking a capable Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations, mentor staff, and uphold quality and infection control guidelines across assigned areas.

The role is full-time on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 4pm–12am) with a $20/hour wage and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD and a 401(k). Daily Pay is available.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong detail orientation.
Customer-oriented and friendly.
Some administrative tasks experience is required.

Responsibilities

General cleaning (dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping).
Detail cleaning (corners/edges, door jambs, hard-to-reach surfaces).
Interact with employees regularly.
Identify and document employee performance as appropriate.
Coordinate cleaning of restricted-access areas to meet timelines.
Train employees in specialized areas and document trainings.

Job Details

The Lead is responsible for assuring assigned area is maintained and daily workload is completed by coordinating, assisting with, and monitoring the work of assigned staff, mentoring employees, and overseeing quality assurance activities. This person ensures work is completed in accordance with department and facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

General cleaning e.g., dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping
Detail cleaning e.g., corners and edges, door jambs and hard to reach surfaces
Positively interacts with each employee in assigned area on a regular basis
Encourages, redirects, corrects, and documents employee performance as appropriate
Aids co-workers as appropriate to meet customer demands and appropriate timelines; coordinates cleaning of restricted access areas to perform necessary cleaning
Trains employees into specialized areas and periodic assignments and documents training
