Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Madison, WI to lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery to customers. The role collaborates with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals across First/ Middle/ Last mile operations.

The position requires managing a flexible schedule, lifting up to 49 pounds, and standing up to 12 hours. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 2+ years of Amazon experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state drivers license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas.
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable.
