Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance across fulfillment operations in Georgia. You will engage your team during shifts to meet customer delivery promises and operate within our first/middle/last mile workflow.

The role requires managing a 20+ employee team, a flexible schedule including weekends or nights, and experience with performance metrics and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise; may involve outdoor loading areas and stairs.
