Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across shifting operations in Kentucky. You will engage the team during shifts to uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time to the correct locations.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating with Safety, Engineering, and HR, and adapting to varying site conditions and tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state drivers license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
