Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to join the Store Leadership team. You will manage a specific area of the store and supervise Associates while the store operates as Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, ensuring safety, merchandising, stockroom upkeep, and executing company processes. The role emphasizes customer service, professional appearance, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked sales floor.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment and ensure merchandise presentation.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes.
• Maintain safety, security and loss prevention across the store.
• Supervise Front End operations, cash handling and customer service standards.
• Oversee merchandising, stockrooms and floor recovery to Company policy.
