Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Kent, WA to lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety and quality, and ensure on-time customer deliveries. You will collaborate with multiple support teams, mentor staff, and adapt to site-specific workflows across first, middle, and last mile operations.

The role requires experience in managing 20+ staff, strong communication, and a background in operations or logistics. This position is full-time and on-site at a delivery station.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather at delivery stations (outside loading areas).
• Continually climb and descend stairs where applicable.
