Job summary

Amazon in Henderson, NV is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees and maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to drive plans that meet delivery promises and business objectives.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, ensuring productivity, and supporting the three-stage fulfillment workflow (First mile, Middle mile, Last mile). The role requires flexibility for weekends/nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in a loud environment with variable temperatures and weather.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
