Job summary

OnTrac in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an Area Manager to lead the sort operations for an assigned facility. This onsite role reports to the Operations Manager and requires coordinating package handlers, optimizing performance, and ensuring safety and productivity across shifts.

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years in logistics with strong leadership, data analysis, and MS Office skills to drive continuous improvement and team engagement at our Phoenix operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in logistics/shipping/3PL.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and math skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals, safety priorities and events to the team.
• Record and manage the flow of volume from designated Linehauls within the facility.
• Execute administrative duties including safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
