Job summary

Wilsonart is hiring an Area Manager - Nights in Temple, TX to lead nightly production operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, and cost targets are met. You will guide frontline supervisors, drive efficiency, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement across the floor.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–5+ years in manufacturing leadership, and the ability to work 9 pm–7 am with overtime as needed. Join us to develop teams and optimize operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nightly production activities and ensure schedule adherence.
  • Lead frontline supervisors and production teams to meet performance goals.
  • Monitor KPIs (safety, quality, output, downtime) and take immediate action.
  • Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Manage labor efficiency, staffing levels, and shift performance.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
  • Support new product launches and process changes on the floor.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all policies.
  • Coach, develop, and hold supervisors accountable for performance.
