Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Area Manager to lead a portfolio of teaching staff across multiple centers in Massachusetts. You will recruit, develop, and motivate teams, ensuring quality and alignment with state licensing and accreditation standards.

In this role, you will drive business results by identifying opportunities, fostering relationships with families and community partners, and maintaining a focus on educational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue-generation experience preferred.
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, motivate, and engage a highly talented team of teaching staff
• Drive consistent focus on quality, accreditation, and educational excellence throughout the market
• Manage a business portfolio, identify sales opportunities, and drive business decisions to improve revenue, customer retention, and acquisition
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, schools and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
