Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates at a remote delivery site. You will mentor staff, manage safety, quality, productivity and delivery promises while coordinating with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and overnight shifts, and lifting up to 49 pounds. The base salary range is 70,000.00 – 90,900.00 USD annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree or International Equivalent, OR 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, OR 6+ years of Military Experience.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly employees and mentor the team during shifts.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours; work in variable temperatures and environments.
• Support a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
• Ensure deliveries are made to the right place at the right time.
