Job summary

Amazon in Montana is hiring for an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and ensure safety, quality, and on-time deliveries. The role involves in-role training at an operating site for 2+ weeks away from the home site, with travel arrangements paid by Amazon.

The position requires open flexibility to work 10-hour overnight shifts and a front-half (Sun–Wed) or back-half (Wed–Sat) schedule, with shifts assigned on start and possibly adjusted for business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and weather; delivery stations may be outdoors and some locations refrigerated.
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).
