Job summary

Amazon is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program located at one of our operations facilities in Virginia. You will learn to coach and mentor up to 100 associates, drive continuous improvement, and manage a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This paid internship emphasizes leadership development, a site-based project, and hands-on floor presence. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays, with extensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree program with expected completion between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours and lift up to 49 pounds.
