Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager Intern for Summer 2027 in MO, OH, KY. This ten-week internship (40 hours/week) focuses on coaching and mentoring a team of Amazon associates in a fast-paced, warehouse environment. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with expected completion between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred.
• Experience in customer service or related roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours and accommodate nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
