Job summary

F. Schumacher & Co is seeking an Area Manager II / Warehouse & Shipping Manager to own shipping, receiving, and warehouse functions for Paramount Handprints in Passaic, NJ.

You will lead a 5–7-person team, coordinate with production planning and procurement, and build systems to ensure on-time delivery and accurate inventory. The role demands rigorous standards, proactive communication, and hands-on leadership on the shop floor within a growing textile and wallcoverings operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading shipping, logistics, or distribution in manufacturing/warehouse.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Bilingual: Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5–7 shipping and warehouse associates and leads.
• Own warehouse and shipping operations, inbound/outbound, and inventory control.
• Ensure ERP accuracy, reconcile received quantities, and manage replenishment numbers.
• Develop and enforce shipping, receiving, and inventory SOPs, bill-of-lading and packing lists.
• Manage carrier relationships, rates, and cost control; track KPIs.
• Communicate status, deadlines, and issues to Paramount leadership and customers.
