Schumacher & Co in Passaic, NJ seeks a highly analytical Plant Controller to lead financial and operational reporting for the Paramount Prints division. You will own inventory accuracy, RNV issue resolution, and capital expenditure management, aligning factory realities with corporate finance.

This role partners with production planning, drives GAAP-compliant close, optimization of costs, and real-time production performance visibility through finance-led process improvements and ERP controls.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in manufacturing finance.
• Inventory accounting, standard costing, and the reconciliation of goods receipts.
• Experience leading AR/AP staff and strategic operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Production Planning to provide insights on throughput, labor utilization, and KPIs.
• Own full-cycle month-end close for the division with GAAP compliance and variance analysis on standard costs.
• Own the financial integrity of inventory; manage cycle counts, raw materials and finished goods valuation, and RNV issues.
• Mentor the AR/AP associate and streamline workflows for timely processing and strong internal controls over cash and liabilities.
• Oversee CapEx lifecycle from budgeting to ROI audits for Paramount Prints.
• Lead process transformation by strengthening controls and automating reconciliations.
