Job summary

Schumacher & Co. in Passaic, NJ seeks an experienced Area Manager II / Warehouse & Shipping Manager to own inbound and outbound logistics end-to-end for Paramount Handprints.

This role will lead a team of 5-7 and partner with production planning, procurement, and third-party partners to ensure reliable receiving, accurate inventory, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of shipping/logistics leadership, 2+ years of people management, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading shipping/logistics in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
• 2+ years direct people management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 5-7 person shipping and warehouse team including leads.
• Own inbound/outbound operations, inventory, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee domestic and international shipping, customs, and brokers.
• Ensure ERP accuracy, weekly replenishment, and KPI reporting.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Manage carrier relationships, cost control, and claims.
• Communicate status and risks to Paramount leadership and stakeholders.
