Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers and uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards across multiple fulfillment workflows. You will engage the team during shifts to meet customer delivery promises and support ongoing site operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in people and performance management, a related degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
