Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees at our Tremont, PA delivery station. You will drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time deliveries to customers.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with variable weather and shifts, including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather; outside loading areas.
