Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Glendale, AZ to lead a team of hourly colleagues, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery promises. The role involves coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives and improve processes across the three-mile workflow—First, Middle, and Last mile.

The position requires 2+ years in people management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or Amazon experience), and flexibility

Formación

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
