Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff at our Kansas City operations. You will engage and coach the team during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while ensuring orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.

The role requires mentoring the workforce, coordinating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR, and lifting up to 49 pounds. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather (outdoor loading areas).
• Climb and descend stairs on sites with stairs.
